Located just 5 minutes away this renovated pier is the crown jewel of the mile-long stretch of Deerfield Beach.The city of Deerfield does a beautiful job of managing the pier, hosting free Environmental Workshops throughout the year at the North Pavilion, complete with complimentary breakfast. They can also arrange individual, private, or group fishing lessons, providing rod, bait, and tackle to each participant. Call the pier to set up a date and time. Every first Thursday of the month, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, teens 13 to 18 can fish for free.
